Fanny Lu

Fanny Lu became an instant hit in Latin America on the release of her debut album, Lágrimas Cálidas (Warm Tears), in 2006. In 2008 she released her second album, Dos, the album and especially the lead single "Tú No Eres Para Mi" (You Are Not For Me) had an amazing success across the whole of North and South America. Fanny Lu has received numerous awards and successes, she received six Latin Billboard Music Award nominations in 2008 and in 2009 he was once again nominated for Female Artist of the Year under the Tropical-genre category.

Fanny Lu is profoundly committed towards social and humanitarian issues. She has been active in promoting FAO and the World Food Day/TeleFood campaigns over the last four years, particularly in Colombia and is now working on a new fundraising and awareness-raising project to support FAO in the Latin American region. As Goodwill Ambassador, the famous singer is now involved in FAO aid in Haiti.
